Not a lot of people realize this hidden gem of affordable parking! It is $10 per vehicle Monday-Friday 5PM-Midnight and Saturday-Sunday 6AM-Midnight. It’s just a short walk from there to the Food Hall, plus you get to see beautiful Waterfront Park.
1. County Administration Center (Kettner and Cedar):
Right next to the Food Hall, under the Vici Apartments on Columbia Street. Pay per space parking, but very convenient in proximity to LIFH!
2. Public Parking under Vici (W Date St and Columbia St):
$10 parking and just one block from LIFH. Bonus: all proceeds go to the school! Operating as a public school with a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) emphasis, these much-needed donations help to ensure the children have access to important technology and are given a well-rounded curriculum.
3. Washington Elementary School (State St and W Elm St):
Free two-hour parking and meters for two-hour parking line the streets adjacent to LIFH. Keep your eyes peeled and you just might find an all-day spot for free (hint: there are a few on State Street).
A great solution for longer visits to the Food Hall are surface lots located throughout downtown and Little Italy. Our suggestions: LAZ Parking Limited (1616 State St), Premium Parking Service (148 W Cedar St), and Ace Parking (Union St and W Beech St). All around $10 for 2 hours.
6. Surface Lots:
County Center/Little Italy Station is just a quick walk away! Check out all the routes here.
